⯌ Magic
Vil is a magic, so he can use magic to accomplish numerous things. From flying on a broom, to throwing fireballs, magically getting changed, or helping him with crafts, it's got a very very wide application. He is only high school/college aged though, so he's not all-powerful or anything like that. A good rule of thumb is that if you've seen it in a Disney movie, he can probably do it too.
⯌ "Fairest On of All"
His signature spell, allows him to create curses and blessings without a complicated rituatual. So he can add "rules" to an object just by touching it. The caveat is his curses and blessings are so strong he can't remove them once set.
⯌ Blot
Bot is a toxic byproduct of casting magic. Mages usually have a magestone (fixed into a wand or tome) that will absorb this, but without a magestone, or while using magic under great mental duress, or just overusing their magic in general, they will overblot. Overblot is essentially a berzerker state, their appearance will become corrupt, and they'll summon an inky entity known as a Phantom. The phantom will feed off their negative emotions and magic until the victim dies, unless the victim is physically separated from their phantom. Vil has overblotted in the past.
